About ALUCA
ALUCA was formally founded in 1986 and is proud to have a great history of development since its humble beginnings. In 2006 we reached an important milestone - membership numbers tipped the scales at 1,000 and continue to grow.
LIFE MEMBERS ALUCA now has several Life Members, appointed to acknowledge their significant contribution to ALUCA and to the life insurance area of the Financial Services industry. Details of Life Members are included on the ALUCA Honour Roll which may be accessed from the members only section.
2008 RESEARCH PAPER COMPETITION The aim of the ALUCA Research Paper Competition is to encourage individual ALUCA members, at all levels, to investigate and write on an area of interest to Underwriting or Claims for the purpose of contributing to and enhancing our professional knowledge. The intention is to encourage new researchers and writers as well as those with an established track record. Up to two of the papers submitted will be chosen to receive an award. The award will consist of a free attendance at the 2008 ALUCA conference (including economy air travel costs from/within Australia or New Zealand at the best possible fare obtainable by ALUCA, and accommodation for the four nights of the conference). The award cannot be exchanged for cash.
Further details may be found in the Members Only section.
