ALUCA is governed by the Board and its Management who are appointed under the terms specified in
the company’s Constitution and appointed by ALUCA members.
ALUCA’s Board sets the strategic direction and work of ALUCA. In addition to the Board, ALUCA has a
Chief Executive Officer and Secretariat Officer as well as State volunteer sub-groups and special interest
committees and working parties.
Under ALUCA’s constitution there are 9 Board members elected by ALUCA members. The new staggered Board term of office (3 Board member positions will become available at each AGM) will ensure greater continuity and succession planning of Board positions whilst providing for new Board role positions in a more controlled manner. This will set both ALUCA and our Board on a very secure footing for the future.
