Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

CPD points are a prerequisite for those who are in the Associate Fellow or Fellow category of membership. ALUCA’s CPD requirement is 30 hours of CPD work p.a. In the event of an individual being granted accredited membership part way through a calendar year, a proportionate requirement will apply. Member Login to CPD portal

Annual random CPD audits will be undertaken so it is important the you keep a record of all of your professional development activities. You can do this via the CPD section in ALUCA’s member centre which you will need to go in and complete. Log in here

The next stage

We’re not the types to rest on our laurels at ALUCA, so we will be taking our accreditation scheme to the next level in the months ahead.

We are currently designing a high-level best practice industry framework for Underwriters and Claims Managers to develop and promote the skills and capabilities required by these roles both now and into the future. Our working education sub-group committee will be providing the new framework to the industry for consultation, input and sign-off.
