TAL – Senior Underwriter Brisbane

In the role of Senior Underwriter, you will be responsible for the maintenance of TAL’s Risk philosophy and profitability through excellent underwriting standards and building relationships with a panel of allocated TAL Advisers.
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
- Over 5 years underwriting experience gained in an environment requiring development of new and innovative approaches.
- Certificate IV in Life Insurance or equivalent.
- Strong medical and underwriting skills and qualifications.
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and plan own work with high attention to detail.
- Previous Underwriting Authority Limits.
