Membership levels

There are a variety of ALUCA memberships levels, from student and ordinary memberships through to memberships for each CPLI level.


An ordinary ALUCA membership is granted to professionals who haven’t yet become accredited through the official ALUCA accreditation program, the CPLI.

CPLI membership levels 

These memberships are for CPLI accredited members and range from an Affiliate member through to a Fellow. Find out more about CPLI levels.


An ALUCA student membership could help kick-off a successful career in life insurance. If you are studying Allied Health, business, commerce, finance, law or psychology (full-time, at tertiary-level or equivalent) you can join ALUCA as a student member. It is not available to those with previous life insurance industry experience or those who are currently working in the life insurance industry.
